Grimm Pictures: Fairy Tales in Horror Movies, A Multimedia Presentation– Healy 105– 3:00- 4:00 PM

Do you enjoy scary movies? Then come and explore the links between suspense/horror movies and the Grimm’s fairy tales in an entertaining multimedia presentation by guest speaker Walter Rankin of George Mason University. German pastries and coffees will round off the event.

Chile: Experiences from Within – ICC 116 – 3:00- 4:30 PM --Event Cancelled

Interested in learning about the history, landscape, and people of Chile? Considering study abroad in a Spanish-speaking country? Come hear the experiences of Chileans from the Georgetown community as well as those of Ms. Katia Shtefan, a Georgetown student who recently studied abroad in Santiago, Chile in fall 2007! Katia will present a slideshow of her photos (which will also be on display in the ICC Galleria throughout the week). Additionally, Chilean panelists will discuss her photos, offer some historical background on Chile, and share some of their personal experiences from the country. So if you don't get a chance to view the exhibit in the ICC, or if you see it and it leaves you with some questions about Chile, definitely check this session out!

International Tea Appreciation – Ching Ching Cha Tea House, 1063 Wisconsin Ave., NW – 4:30 PM - 6:30 PM

Those who want to expand their knowledge about tea and learn how to enjoy this ancient beverage are invited to join us at Ching Ching Cha Tea House for an afternoon of tea appreciation. You will receive personal instruction on the best way to prepare different kinds of tea and enjoy tasty tea snacks. iPARTY (International Party) – Harbin Patio (Rainsite: Leavey Sellinger Lounge) – 7:00 PM - midnight

Come taste Our World! iPARTY is the culminating event of iWEEK! As strangers and friends gather on a warm spring evening, an international array of cuisine appears with tables representing the palettes of 6 continents. As the food disappears, musical performances, dances and stories fill the air while DJs spin world tunes. Tickets will be sold in Red Square daily through April 4th for $8 and $10 tickets are available at the door. Take the trip to Harbin Patio & celebrate our world!
