iCUP World Soccer Tournament – Kehoe Field – 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM

iCUP is the annual soccer tournament for Georgetown students and scholars in which teams are created to represent different cultures, regions, and nations. Participants from all levels are welcome, ranging from members of the club soccer team to individuals who just want to celebrate their heritage. Spectators are encouraged to enjoy the tournament and help themselves to free refreshments. Free admission.

7th Annual Bayanihan! – Leo J. O’Donovan Dining Hall – 6:30 PM

Get excited for an awesome cultural show! Hosted for the first time ever at Leo's Dining Hall, this year's show features delicious Filipino food and traditional dances with a "percussion" theme. So get ready for tinikling sticks, castanets, and more for a BANGIN' good time! Doors open at 6:00 pm, and the program/dinner will begin at 6:30 PM. Tickets go on sale starting Wednesday, March 12th in Red Square.

Persian New Year Celebration – McShain Large – 7:30 PM – 9:00 PM

Persian New Year, or Norouz, marks the first day of spring and the beginning of the Iranian year. Rooted in the rituals and traditions of the Zoroastrian religion, Norouz has been celebrated for more than 3,000 years and is the most cherished of Iranian festivals. Please join us as we celebrate the beginning of the Iranian year 1387 with Persian musical and dance performances, poetry readings, and fine Persian cuisine. Tickets to the event are $15 and may be reserved by emailing icsgeorgetown@gmail.com. Doors open at 7 PM, and the program will begin at 7:30 PM.
